The former UFC light-heavyweight champion, former UFC middleweight title challenger and fifth-ranked middleweight Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida is wanting a fight against Britain’s own, Michael “The Count” Bisping in early 2016 according to TheScore.com.
Machida, 37, hasn’t been on a trend that he would like. After coming out with a loss in the hands of Chris Weidman for the title, he beat CB Dolloway. Lyoto then lost dominantly to Luke Rockhold and just 2 months later, he got knocked out by Yoel Romero back in June of this year. If “The Dragon” can come out victorious against Bisping, he could very well make his case for a title shot.
